First mausoleum is a wrap. Definitely one of the most interesting crane jobs I’ve been a part of. Last time I was down here at this cemetery was for the same stone company helping last year on some big cremation vaults. This time they had a mausoleum they were building. Huge amounts of fragile pieces of granite to uncreate, stage, rig, dry fit, and then epoxy in to place. The heaviest piece was a touch over 3k, the rest of them in the 2k-ish range. Definitely gotta be smooth with these to avoid chipped corners, or cracks. Not to mention some of them have engraving and custom designs. The stone guys are straight up pros at this, and it shows.
