We would like to congratulate our chapter brother @calebsmitchell1 on being named the Nu Pi Lambda chapter's Seven Jewels Brother Of The Year! Caleb is a Fall 2021 initiate and has hit the ground running. Brother Mitchell is a brother's brother and he leads with service. Brother Mitchell works with our Alpha Ambassadors as well as with our Boy Scout Troop. He was instrumental in assisting those young men in their trip to Washington DC! Brother Mitchell also works relentlessly in creating networks in the community and garnering financial support from those companies to assist in our chapter's programs. One of his biggest accomplishments so far has been the conceptualization and creation of the DFW ALPHA CHORUS & the chapter's inaugural John Hanson Night of Community & Inspiration! This event was an Uber success. We were able to bring the community together to worship while raising money to provide coats to several students in need in our Arlington and Mansfield areas. The DFW ALPHA CHORUS has already been a featured performer in the Gospel Music Workshop of America, the Opal Lee Juneteenth Celebration, the Alpha Southwest Regional Convention, and most recently, the 97th Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.
