‼One of the most effective techniques that helped me handle the pain i felt during labour was actually UNDERSTANDING what a contraction was. 🚫If we're feeling pain without purpose, we just want to stop it or run away from that pain, because it bloody hurts! 👌But once I understood contractions were the muscle of my uterus literally working to push my baby out for me - I could get on board with that! ❤Every single contraction is quite literally a step closer to meeting your baby, as the muscles move upwards, which is also pulling your cervix open. ⬇️Your muscles are forming this powerful muscle above your baby, which will then push DOWNWARDS, expelling your baby through your now fully dilated self. 🥳AMAZING!🥳 🚫No one needs to check, or tell you when to push. 👉You just need to let your brain step aside and allow your body to do it's thing! ❓How do you feel about this?
