This #FriendshipDay, I had invited my long old friend Bupinder Singh over lunch to discuss his idea, a book-club for the Government School children. We have been associated for over 7 years now and have done a lot of such projects together in the past. At @parsas_foodforall we have hosted several Open Mic events and book launches, bringing the culture of poetry and storytelling to life in Kashmir. His brainchild @unfound_artists has been a great platform to many budding writers, poets and artists to showcase their talent. Now, posted as a Teacher at Old Government Higher Secondary School Jawaharnagar, Bupinder is trying to inculcate the reading culture into our young generation and seeking our support for this lovely initiative. I am fortunate enough to donate some books from my personal library along with first two editions of @thecuratormag and I request you all to come forward, donate your old books and help him reach out to more children.
