🥟 my FAVORITE spot for soup dumplings NYC’s most iconic soup dumplings AKA nan xiang express has just opened up @nanxiangexpress in williamsburg - a smaller franchise serving the same delicious shanghainese food as the original spot in flushing 😍 they also have locations in forest hills, boston, and near baltimore ✨ the flushing location has been a long-time favorite of mine so i was really excited to try this express location! what we ordered (🫶🏼 = my faves): -drinks: iced soy milk, passionfruit and lime green tea -cucumber salad -shrimp fried spring rolls -four happiness sponge tofu 🫶🏼 -sliced beef scallion pancake 🫶🏼 -soup dumplings: crab meat & pork 🫶🏼, chicken -pan-fried pork buns 🫶🏼 -wonton in spicy peanut sauce -shanghai fried udon with pork 🫶🏼 -shredded pepper with beef noodles -shrimp pan-fried crispy noodles 🫶🏼 legit got the whole spread 🙌 we took too long filming though, and lemme tell you lukewarm soup dumplings are NOT it 🤣 but can confirm the flavors are just as good as the original flushing location’s! 🥰 i was lowkey a bit worried about the quality being worse, but they delivereddd 🥹 the four sponge happiness tofu is super delicious, recommended by @cynful.eats and i’m never looking back 😘 sliced beef scallion pancake is FIRE, one of my favorites from this meal! love the flavors of the soup dumplings, although their signature pork dumpling is still the best. and an unexpected favorite of mine is the shrimp pan-fried crispy noodles - super flavorful, almost to the point where it was a smidge too salty, but i couldn’t stop myself from inhaling this 😋 🏷️ #aapifoodiefam #nycfood #nyceats #nyceeeeeats #nycrestaurants #dumplings #soupdumplings #xiaolongbao #nycdumplings #wheretoeatnyc #brooklynfood #brooklyneats #williamsburg #williamsburgbrooklyn #williamsburgeats #williamsburgfood #nanxiang #nanxiangxiaolongbao #nycfoodies #eatingnewyork #yelpnyc soup dumplings, dumplings, nyc food, nyc recs, nyc restaurants, brooklyn recs, brooklyn food
