I should of read the fine print 🫣before bringing my Dyson Air Strait travelling with me! I am only travelling with my Corrale now since it works universally. I love my Dyson products but wish for that price point they would be more travel friendly. I might be the only person on the planet who thought this would work with a converter/adapter, but in case I’m not, learn from my mistake!! Epic fail! Although, you’d think for this price it would be dual voltage 🤔 Directly from Dyson: “Dyson machines are designed specifically for the countries in which they are sold. Because of this fact, we are unable to have the machine converted to meet the specific country electrical code and laws. In order to use the machine in a different country a power converter would be needed. We do not recommend using a converter, as the machine will not perform at the normal expected life of a Dyson machine, and that may also void the warranty.” EDIT ✍️ just in case it’s confusing: The part about not working outside the country you bought it from was because I was in Canada and the SA was in Europe (different voltage)! Dyson does specify on their website a list of countries that are compatible depending on where you bought it depending on voltages.
