A simple chocolate collar cake Making chocolate collar is one of the easy ways to decorate any cake. And the best part is you can hid away any imperfections on the side of the cake, easy. It is not the most pretty cake, but it is summer and everyone is busy with their life. So, thought to do something quick and easy for the @instagram .... Measure the perimeter of the cake and cut a strip of baking paper slightly larger than that. I think the scrunched up paper gives a lovely texture, hence i scrunched the paper for the collar, but you abosolutely no need to do that. Just use bakin paper as it is or even better a strip of acetate for shiny finish Pour tempered #chocolate on top and spread over the baking paper. Let it start to set and then wrap it around the cake. Transfer the cake to fridge to let it set complete. After about 30mins, take the cake out.
