Mental reset- Between evolutions or during the breaks, I try and clear my thoughts as best I can. Ignore the heat, humidity and subtle distractions that occupy my mind. None of those things serve me or benefit my group, they only take away from my performance and limit my available bandwidth. Sitting in my thoughts, realigning my priorities and narrowing my focus have always been a important part of training and have shown huge benefits in my ability to focus on my process. Practice letting your mind go blank, focus on your breath and calming yourself down in order to process as much information as possible. It takes practice but can enhance your awareness and allow you to solely focus on the task at hand. Trust the process, stay the course. Be a pro. #mindset #mentalperformance #cqb #trainingforlife #movement #teams
