I think we created the bedroom of our dreams…✨ and honestly why shouldn’t we be doing that? It’s where we sleep, have quiet time, sexy time 🔥, nurse our babies, read bed time stories… it shouldn’t be forgotten but feels like it’s the spot I neglect. Let me tell you it feels so good to work on this room finally! The major changes I did were… wrapped the beams with oak, lime washed the upper walls, sanded down the floors, added curtains, added some thrifted finds, layered rugs, got a bed that is SO cozy + higher off the ground for these tall ceilings + a chaise lounge. Most of the decor was thrifted or from around my house. I only did one coat of the lime wash + I thing it just adds these amazing old world plastered texture + warmth to the room.
