My favorite arpeggio Etude, Giuliani op. 48 no. 5. When I tell my students I’ve been playing it all my life, I’m not exaggerating 😂 Swipe left to February 1992, when the 7 year old me could barely press the chords… 😂 Anyone growing up in the Soviet Union might recognize the almost cardboard guitar… some of you might have had the ones with some random vines drawn on the soundboard. Basically it was a plywood box, with 6 strings on it. The frets weren’t even real metal 😂, but it did the job done, until the kids grew. The extra stuff you see taped under my right arm was added by my dad to make sure that the ratio of where my arm rests and where the strings are stays the same as I grew and my arm got longer. Eventually I switched to a full size, I think I was 8, close to 9, when I switched, since there weren’t really any options for in between sizes. #giulianietudes #arpeggio #guitararpeggio #classicalguitarist #classicalguitar #goharvardanyan #jeanrompreguitars
