Please tell me I’m not the only one who dreams about sushi seven days a week... 🍣🥹 - I recently checked out @akane.sushi in North York beside CenterPoint Mall near Yonge & Steeles! They are a sushi & udon sake bar with a pretty extensive menu! 😍 Here’s some of what we tried: 🍣 LOVE BOAT A: This boat has 44 pcs (18 sashimi, 12 sushi, 14 rolls) and serves 2 people! The presentation of it with the boat is just SO NICE! 🍤 TEMPURA COMBO: 18 pcs with 6 shrimp tempura, 10 veggies, and 2 crab sticks! The tempura was so light and crispy! 🦞 KING LOBSTER MAKI: This roll was so huge I definitely could not fit it in my mouth in one bite! It’s loaded with fried lobster tail, spicy salmon, avocado, cucumber and topped with mayo and ikura on top! 🍜 SEAFOOD UDON: The udon was chewy and the broth had such a nice umami flavour! In terms of seafood, there was a big shrimp, mussels, and octopus pieces! The owner is so sweet too!
