BIN DAY - I used to use a liner for the wheelie bin, one each for kitchen compost and kitchen waste and one in the bathroom. I then ditched the plastic liners some years ago - hate them now. Some take hundreds of years to decompose. All I need to do is to so give them all a clean. Wheelie bin - well overdue!! Washing soda soak to loosen and remove all debris then used my all purpose floor cleaner to finish. Cream cleaner easily removed a ‘years old’ sticky label. Reusable bin liner I’ve had about four years and bought from @peacewiththewild and made by @wearemoonie though check pinned post for many suppliers. My kitchen compost bin is lined with newspaper or used packaging and cleaning then is easy with a sprinkle of bicarbonate of soda. Ditch the plastic bin liners and save some money and our planet.
