One thing about perspective drawing I wish someone had told me as a beginner: In reality, things aren't perfectly straight most of the time. Sometimes, there's a bend in the road, and a simple 1-point-perspective grid won't cut it. This can be a stumbling block when you're trying to draw a scene. The solution: Add a second vanishing point (VP), and treat it separately from the first one. In this example, the houses in the foreground follow one VP, and the houses in the background (after the bend) follow another, because their orientation is slightly different. And that's it! Just make sure both VPs share the same horizon line and you're good to go. Hope this helps! Btw, I'm using the perspective tools in Procreate for this kind of stuff.
