As a goodwill ambassador of @creasionorg (that I am very proud to be associated as), I gave the welcome remarks for their event ‘Youth Dialogue on Circular Economy of Plastics’ - a dialogue that aims to bring together young minds from diverse backgrounds for a presentation competition centred on the theme Plastic Circularity in Nepal. During these numerous presentations presented by students from various colleges, I got a deeper understanding of plastic circularity and its significance within the context of Nepal. This event not only served as a celebratory platform for the dynamic and passionate youth but also as an opportunity to empower and stimulate their intellect. As Creasion Org embrace the overarching theme of this year’s International Youth Day, ‘Green Skills for Youth: Towards a Sustainable World,’ with this event they are also celebrating the youth while also amplifying their innovative thoughts and ideas. Let us imagine a future where we no longer think of plastic as disposable, but rather as something with endless possibilities. Let us think about a world where every plastic item is given a new lease of life, where recycling isn’t just a choice, but a fundamental part of how we interact with the things around us. Let’s stand up for a world where plastic serves us, not suffocates us. Let’s rally behind a concept that’s turns waste into resource, a problem into a solution.
