Growing up, I have never been an athletic kid, if I had a choice I rather be a couch potato. But this couch potato do like to challenge herself, especially when someone says “nope you won’t be able to do that.” Started off with cycling, it paved new horizons and barriers for me. Things I thought I wouldn’t be able to do and achieve, I did it! This time, I’ll be unlocking a new barrier- the @berlinmarathon. I wouldn’t deny that it has been a lonesome and tiresome journey. From the usual cycling in a peloton to focusing on solely your ownself. The competition is you against you! Every day you try to beat the you from yesterday. 5 months into my marathon training now, I’ve blistered, chafed, sunburnt, injured, broken my toe nails, but one thing that won’t be broken is my spirit! People can finish a marathon, but to finish it within our set goal of time will be the real challenge! Will I be able to finish at my targetted time?
