@29commando is a British Army unit from the @royal_artillery, formed of trained Commandos from all services The unit’s role is to support the UK Commando Force @royalmarines and provide specialist Fire Support and targeting expertise in any operating environment. In the last 12 months, the Soldiers, Airmen, Sailors, and Marines of 29 Commando have deployed all over the world. They've been to the jungles of Brunei, Singapore, and Malaysia, exercised in the Norwegian Arctic, on beaches in Estonia, and around the islands of coastal Sweden. They’ve trained in the mountains of Slovenia, the deserts of Oman and the UAE, and the tropical swamps of Australia. The unit also provided an essential component of the United Kingdom’s response to the crisis in Sudan. All deployable ranks within the regiment have completed either the All Arms Commando Course or the Royal Marines Commando Course, earning the right to wear the Green Beret.
