We’ve got our eye on you, “Idalia!” 👀🌀 Tropical Storm Idalia is expected to strengthen into a hurricane as it crosses the Gulf of Mexico, tracking to the west of Dry Tortugas National Park. Weather conditions are expected to deteriorate over the next few days. Boaters should check marine forecasts and plan accordingly. Although the park remains open, emergency services will be limited as staff prepare the park for the incoming tropical weather. During a storm, boaters may take safe harbor within the one nautical mile anchor zone around Garden Key. Ferry @drytortugas and seaplane tours are still scheduled for Monday. Contact them directly to inquire about tours later this week.
