■ I am working on some new ideas for various things, and exploring making my art practice sustainable (as well as the materials I use in my practice being environmentaly responsible - recycled, re-used, re-purposed.) ■ This 'art thing' has to be sustainable for mental and physical health, it has to be authentic and meaningful, with rigorous conceptual basis. ■ There are ideas that bubble to the surface, visual images that appear and need to be trialled to see if they 'work' IRL. ■ I am pretty shitty at working out whether something is actually on par. Looking at new work and thinking it is good rarely ever happens. Occasionally, yes. But lots of questioning and doubts, tweaks and yeah, nahs. The process. ■ This caper is not for the weak of heart, I am learning.
