Historic downtown Delaware is 94% occupied. Woah 🤯 Come early for breakfast, and spend the whole day. Fun facts about Delaware, Ohio: Delaware was in the running to become the capital of Ohio, but lost by one vote. It’s home to Ohio Wesleyan University, one of The Five Colleges of Ohio. Each year the events at the Delaware County fair culminate in The Little Brown Jug, a unique harness racing event with a million dollar purse. Rutherford B.
