We teased our kitchen progress with a view from our hallway, so I feel like it needs a proper before and progress post to show off the amazing Danby Marble counters. • Please note the window treatment in the before photo, and maybe the wallpaper border in the dining room too 😁 • It has been a long process to get to this point. We’ve owned this house for nearly 9 years. In that time we’ve done many projects, planned many others, and have lived and used our house extensively to get to know what would work well for our lives. This experience informed our kitchen layout decisions, especially in the odd space with 4 doorway/openings and a window. • Now that our vision is starting to take shape we are both getting really excited. This will be the central hub of our first floor. A space where we’ll prep and cook our meals, make drinks, talk with friends, feed our dogs, pass food through the window to the porch, and enjoy all of the fun and entertaining we’re planning. • We still have a ways to go, but getting the counters installed helped make us feel like we’re working on finishing our kitchen, not just working on another long running project. • Also, shout out to @imaginesurfaces and @solidrockstone for an incredible, efficient, and accurate process in sourcing, measuring, and fabricating these counters. #kitchenrenovation #danbymarble #diyrenovation #customcabinets #oldhouse #oldhousecommunity
