I made a new friend at @qatarstarbucks , Sarrah, She is the national Barista champion of Qatar and was so kind to include me in the coffee tasting. Sarrah explained to me about each of the coffee beans available there and how they are sourced from different countries. She chose a special blend to prepare “French press” for us to actually enjoy the coffee the proper way. We were given pieces of brownies, Sarrah asked us to first smell the coffee, take a sip, take a bite and then again a sip. Felt like i was having coffee for the first time, the french press and brownie was magical when had that way. Sarrah also informed me that they are planning to keep more coffee sessions, and if you would like to be a part of it, just ask the barista when they will be conducting the coffee session at their stores.
