Recently I had someone guilt me for not putting my own boundaries aside to attend to their wants. ⁣ ⁣ The recovering people pleaser in me reverted for a split second to thinking I was being selfish for being unwilling to bend for their wants. ⁣ ⁣ But then I quickly reminded myself that I am not responsible for their emotional reaction to my boundary.
