The Macallan Colour Collection 🥃 The latest series from The Macallan has arrived, and it appears to be getting a mixed reaction from Macallan collectors on many of the social media outlets. Comprised of five expressions, the Colour Collection "is a range of exceptional whiskies that celebrates two of the pillars upon which The Macallan's legacy is built: Natural colour and Sherry Seasoning." The colour deepens with each age expression in the colour collection, and the age statements are 12 years, 15 years, 18 years, 21 years, and 30 years old. The Macallan Colour Collection is captured through the eyes of American Artist and Graphic Designer David Carson, who collaborated with The Macallan to design the packaging and campaign artwork. Again, I'm seeing a mixed reaction to the packaging design, with many Macallan enthusiasts saying that they dislike it, and that the packaging is like something you'd see on a toiletries or perfumery product. So, what are your thoughts on The Macallan's latest series?
