The most beautiful person inside and out, @jenniferhuntershank is an angel. During the Maui fires, she & her husband, @ben_shank13 welcomed two families into their home, collected donations & delivered them (via boat) to people in need in Lahaina. Jen picked me up between shifts at CBS for an afternoon of hugs, tears & much needed time together. Ben, is busy running a world class resort, while making sure that members of team who are impacted by the fires are getting much needed assistance. They are the best. It’s taken a few weeks to process what we experienced while covering fires in Lahaina, and it was very helpful to write it all down.
