Snapdragons benefit from pinching out the growing tip in order to promote branching, which in turn means more flowers! Did you know you can take that pinched part of the stem and create a new plant with it? I was so thrilled that this worked so well last season! How to: Cut the snapdragon above the second set of leaves, dip in rooting powder/gel, and place into pre-moistened soil (it helps to create a hole with a pencil prior to placing the cutting). Take off any leaves that would fall below soil line. These will root within a week or so! Grow the cuttings on just like you would seedlings. My last reel covered how to start snapdragon seeds!
