🆘🆘Emergency surgery needed!🆘🆘 Please help us save Pia the Pom again! You should remember sweet little Pia, the Pomeranian who was so cruelly abandoned in a crate, under an overpass in Newark on an extremely hot day. We ran to Pia’s rescue immediately once the kindhearted finder reached out to us. Pia was then vetted and her spay was scheduled. We had to reschedule that spay due to the fact that poor Pia had gone into heat. That heat cycle seemed to have stopped, and her new date was approaching. Suddenly, Pia started to bleed heavily, and it was only getting worse. Without wasting any time, Pia was rushed to @eclipsevetcare last night. Sadly, Pia needs to be rushed into surgery this morning, as she does have pyometra, a potentially deadly infection of her uterus. This is the only way to save precious Pia’s life. We have been inundated with calls for help, and have answered them time after time. At a time where some rescues are turning their backs on their own communities to “rescue” from more lucrative situations like puppy mill puppies and loads of easily-adopted puppies from transport, we have stayed loyal to helping the local animals who need us the most. Pia is a treasure, and this all could have been avoided had her neglectful and heartless original owner had spayed her. That didn’t happen.
