Now if you were wondering if that person who makes you feel so low in life to the point that you don’t even wanna be here no more is your SOULMATE or THE ONE because you “feel safe” with them, s/he’s NOT! That’s unhealed childhood trauma - someone who experienced a lot of trauma during their childhood tend to slowly gain comfort around people who’re toxic - hence, the feeling of “safety” comes along because that is all they have ever known. So naturally such people gravitate towards people who mimic the same trauma patterns for them. And when a good person enters their life, they struggle with trust issues and are constantly under stress and demand constant reassurance and can be needy and a bit hurtful sometimes because they’re not used to getting the love and affection- they’ve always gotten bread crumbs and had to work hard for it, so, naturally when a person will simply love them for who they are - they have a hard time believing it because all their life they’ve been made to feel unworthy. Hence, they, unwillingly, tend to give a hard time to good people because their inner child is scared of getting hurt. September is Suicide Prevention Month.
