In one of its kind, a strange event occurred in Rajnandgaon. Honey Bees attacked the employees engaged in maintenance at Mohara Filter Plant. In which five employees have been injured. There is a hive of bees inside the plant itself. Due to the attack of bees, the work had to be stopped at night. Due to this, water could not come from the taps even on Sunday morning. Water supply remained affected in the entire city. Water was supplied after 9.30 pm on Sunday night. Saturday's shutdown was taken for repair work in 27 MLD and 10 MLD plants of Mohara. Due to this, water supply could not be done from the taps on Saturday evening. After the whole day, the repair work continued in the night as well. Meanwhile, the bees present in the plant attacked the employees. Five employees were badly injured. Here the officers got the work stopped at night which was started again in the morning. Due to this the overhead tanks could not be filled. In such a situation, taps did not open in the city even on Sunday morning after Saturday evening. Although the repair work was completed by Sunday evening. The corporation had issued notice of shutdown. In which the supply was said to be affected only on Saturday evening. But due to the incident during the repair, the taps did not open even on Sunday. Because of which people had to face trouble. Due to non-availability of water in the morning on the holiday of Sunday, people were seen upset in every part. Due to the closure of the plant, the option of supplying water through tankers was also not available. Due to maintenance work, Indira Nagar Tank, Singdai Mohad Tank, Lakholi Kanharpuri Tank, Kanchanbagh Tank, Tankaghar New RCC Tank, Tankaghar New Tank, Tankaghar Tank, Shankarpur New Tank, Chikhali (Dindayal Nagar) Tank could not be filled. These tanks provide water supply to about 80 percent of the city. Due to the tanks not being filled on Saturday afternoon and Sunday night, there was a break in the supply in all the supply areas of these tanks.
