Vegan Chives Pancake (韭菜饼)is a very healthy and delicious savory pancake. I grew up having this pancake for tea time and breakfast. It is super easy to make and it’s only need 2 main ingredients to make it which is chives and flour, the rest of it should be able found in every pantry. These pancake usually are eaten for breakfast and it can also be a snack serve during tea time with some chili ketchup. Recipe: 1 cup (125g) all purpose flour 80g chives, chopped 320ml (1 1/3cup) water 1/2 tsp onion 1/2 tsp garlic powder 1/2 salt Method: 1.) In large bowl, combine the all purpose flour, garlic powder, onion powder, salt and water. Mix until the batter has no lumps of flour remain. 2.) Then mix the batter and the chopped chives. Rest the batter rest for about 30 minutes. 3.) Heat a nonstick pan, grease the pan with oil. Pour about 1/3 cup of batter onto the pan. Cook about 2 minutes. Flip and cook another 1-2 minutes until light golden in colour. 4.)
