How do you view nap times? Is it a stressful experience or do you look forward to it? A couple days ago, I posted a IG live of what nap time for the twins looks like. I want to be honest though. Not every experience is the same! Some days I have help from my husband when he is between meetings. Sometimes my son wants to be part of the experience and it takes longer to put the girls down. Sometimes the girls are over tired and I really have to fight to get them down. There are many days that I put the girls down by myself and things can go really smoothly! No matter what, I always try to set the tone for nap time and create a calming space for the girls. I also try to be intentional with our connection time when I put them down. I love to sing to them, dance with them, and pat them on the back until they relax and start to fall asleep. Being a twin mom is hard. Motherhood is hard. But I’m so thankful that I’m not doing it alone. God gives me so much patience and is constantly blessing me with more and more capacity!
