#TiagoSantAna | A pintura "Alegoria à retomada (Ivã com cetro Sankofa)" (2023), de Tiago Sant'Ana (@tiagosantanaarte), faz parte de sua pesquisa em pintura, na qual o artista investiga principalmente a linguagem do retrato - técnica amplamente explorada ao longo da História da Arte. No entanto, Sant'Ana traz ao centro de suas telas intersecções entre masculinidade e negritude, subjetividades que foram, muitas vezes, representadas de maneira estereotipada.  A obra faz parte da exposição "Dos Brasis: arte e pensamento negro", no Sesc Belenzinho (@sescbelenzinho). Com curadoria de Igor Simões (@igormsimoes), Lorraine Mendes (@vidamaiorqueolattes) e Marcelo Campos (@marcelocampos7825), a mostra apresenta trabalhos em diversas linguagens artísticas como pintura, fotografia, escultura, instalações e videoinstalações, produzidos entre o fim do século XVIII até o século XXI por 240 artistas negros, entre homens e mulheres cis e trans, de todos os Estados do Brasil. ____ #TiagoSantAna | The painting "Alegoria à retomada (Ivã com cetro Sankofa)" (2023), by Tiago Sant'Ana (@tiagosantanaarte), is part of his research in painting, in which the artist primarily investigates the language of portraiture—a technique extensively explored throughout Art History. However, Sant'Ana places at the center of his canvases intersections between masculinity and blackness, subjectivities that have often been represented in a stereotypical manner. The piece is part of the exhibition "Dos Brasis: arte e pensamento negro" at Sesc Belenzinho (@sescbelenzinho).
