And just to be clear, when I use a word like “presence” it’s just a placeholder for something that cannot be pointed to or expressed in words. You could substitute another word or phrase like “pure consciousness” or “True Self” but that’s just more words. There’s nothing I can say that will get to the heart of it. “It” (what you are) can only be known via direct experience and meditation is the right tool for the job. There’s nothing boring or empty about presence either.
