Another week has passed in a blink and it is Thursday again! Time to slow down and find a moment in our busy day for the Sip Tea and EPP party with my lovely friend and co-host Larisa @stitchingnotes and I, Irina @nordiccrafter, I, Larisa @stitchingnotes, and our wonderful sewing community. 🤗 We would love for you to join us tonight or any other evening of the week, whichever suits you best. The plan for our party is simple but full of warmth and kindness. In the hustle and bustle of our everyday lives, we often forget to make time for ourselves. This virtual gathering is a perfect opportunity to unwind, relax and enjoy a break from the routine. Hand crafting has a magical way of soothing the soul, and calming the mind. It’s like a little pocket of mindfulness where your hands guide you, and your thoughts find a peaceful retreat. Stress and worries take a backseat, and you are left with a sense of calm. This is a crafty kind of happiness that we love sharing with you week after week. To join, simply take a photo of your work and post it under the #sipteaandepp hashtag. Tag the hosts Larisa @stitchingnotes and Irina @nordiccrafter in the descriptions of your post so we can easily find you and leave a comment. A couple of weeks ago we asked you about the most unusual places you worked on your projects and how you feel about sewing in public. We truly enjoyed reading your comments and I have to tell you that some of you are really adventurous when it comes to crafting in unusual places. 😀 Today we invite you to share one tip for someone who is just thinking of crafting on the go. Maybe it’s a special tool you can’t do without or a particular type of a project bag that is the best when it comes to portable projects or maybe it’s just a few words of encouragement to those who is still feeling shy crafting in public. Here is my project bag made by a lovely IG friend Michelle @bacontheneggs. It might look small but it holds all my necessary for EPP on the go: needles, thread, small scissors, thimble. I prepare my pieces for stitching in advance as fabric choices and prepping the pieces are the most time-consuming part. Then I can enjoy stitching in public😊
