Today (9 September) is Emergency Services Day👮🚑🚒🛟 2 million people serve across the NHS and emergency services, including 250,000 first responders. All emergency services rely on volunteers who selflessly give up their time (such as Special Constables, Community First Responders, Volunteer Firefighters and Search and Rescue) in unpaid roles to save lives and protect us from danger🙌👏 🚔 To all those currently serving, and to those who have served in the past, thank you. As they say – not all heroes wear capes! 💙 #999Day
