ITS DONE! They are SAFE! We will posting pictures and videos, quarantine arrivals, vet updates, adoption updates, and numerous other updates over the next couple of days but for now… we are going to enjoy the beautiful sight of these amazing drafts arriving safely to QT. A vet will intake and treat their various injuries, decisions will be made on their pathway through the rescue. So far, NO horses have been humanely euthanized except Gloria in Maryland due to extreme founder (bone coming through hoof wall). She was peacefully with a full belly, a braided mane, and Beth at her side. This is a ROUGH group but we have faith and trust in our vets and quarantine providers to handle and care for every last one. Finally, thank you to every single donor— big and small— for making history AGAIN today.
