She began working on her concept for the tour while she was creating the album. If the music was about her transformation, her struggle with fame and letting her guard down, the show would have to communicate that, too. ⁠ ⁠ The end result was a two-hour marathon during which she hardly ever leaves the stage. ⁠ ⁠ “I want to be understood,” she says. “I want people to really understand that I’m being transparent.
