A little something we did to give back during our trip to #Bhutan. 🙏 On behalf of our joint venture @thescventures, a bespoke Bhutan tour company, we donated to the stunning Gangtey Monastery to feed all the monks residing there. It was such a memorable experience to receive blessings from a reincarnation, and more than humbling to speak to the monks to understand more about their life. In Bhutan, it’s forbidden to take photos in a temple, but they kindly allowed us to have this picture. Their temples are all well kept secrets and are absolutely works of art. The structures, intricate carvings & deep stories leave such a lasting memory to whoever that visits. It’s something that gets ingrained in your memories without the need of snapping a photo.
