Finally getting around to our oldest son’s bedroom. This will be his first own bedroom and he is super excited for it. His biggest request was for it to be sky blue (his favorite color) with a bunk bed so here we are! Bunk bed - ✅ Sky Blue - ✅ It took me awhile to find the right shade of blue that him and I would both love but I think we nailed it! Color - Stardew by @sherwinwilliams We reduced the size of this closet by about 40%. It used to run the entire length of that wall. We took some of the closet space to build stairs for the bunk bed. There’s a really cool feature here that I’ll share more about later on. Additional Plans: Incorporate his other favorite color which is red. I have a specific red in mind and will be painting his closet and room doors in that color. Add a desk with storage and come up with a solution for him to display some of his collectibles (funkos) DIY a bookcase at the end of his bed for all his books. He is an avid reader so I definitely want to incorporate a reading nook for him. I also feel like his room is missing some texture so I may add some wall panelling/trim work to it.
