Here’s the truth… ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 1. I learned to meet my body where it’s at. I stopped chasing the “old me” and started investing in this new version of me, how I was growing into her, showing up for her, and embodying the rituals I knew would make my body and mind feel good. The motto I kept reminding myself: If you’re forever looking back, how are you ever going to move forwards. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 2. I grounded myself in showing up in the best way I could that day. Because today’s version of me isn’t the same as me last week, or me last year. Showing up in this present moment, in the best way I could. Some days that looked like a lot, others it looked like the bare minimum. But it’s the showing up that always counts 🙌🏻 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 3. I met my body with love and respect. Watching it in awe as it grew my daughter, bought her safely into this world. Seeing every stretch mark, change and adjustment as sign of her, sign of her beautiful life that my body had created.
