Grandpa Zimba (Gramps) needs donations today! This sweet little gramps was rescued from the Harbor/Los Angeles city animal shelter with a congenital heart defect. He had seen a cardiologist and seemed to be doing well. He is going to the hospital today for suspected pancreatitis. He has not had a good appetite but was willing to eat some white meat chicken and baby food. He is now vomiting undigested food and seems dehydrated so off we go to try to get him seen as an emergency walk in today. His temperature is not yet elevated and we are hoping that we are catching this early enough. Senior dogs are prone to pancreatitis and waiting several days before seeing a vet can be fatal.
