Last week I started working on a personal project. My family is from Calabria, Italy, specifically the province of Cosenza. One of the traditional breads that were made back in the day was called “Pitta” (pronounced pita but extremely different). There’s not many resources to find a recipe or method to make this bread as it was traditionally prepared in Calabria but through a lot of trial and error plus the help from my amazing family who was willing to keep eating these until I got it right, here’s the final result. I’ll do a tutorial soon and probably post it on my YouTube channel (the pizza garage) soon.
