Caramel Slice! Let’s get baked 🍃 I doubled the recipe below and used a 25cm square tin Base: 1 cup plain flour 1/2 cup brown sugar 1/2 cup desiccated coconut 125g melted butter Mix all ingredients together and press into a lined baking tin, cook for 15-20 mins @180° or until golden brown Caramel: 1 tin sweetened condensed milk 50g golden syrup 50g melted butter All ingredients in a saucepan, cook on low-medium heat whisking until golden brown. Pour over base and cook for a further 10 minutes or until set. Cool completely in fridge Choc-top: 1 block Cadbury milk chocolate 50g vegetable oil/copha (this will make it cut smoothly) Melt chocolate and fat over a double boiler and pour over the top of fully cooled caramel.
