Last week, Command Sgt. Maj. Phil Barretto, the U.S. Military Academy command sergeant major, spoke with 10 soldier candidates from the @82ndairbornediv to discuss the transition from being a @usarmy enlisted soldier to becoming a West Point cadet. Two soldiers received Letters of Assurance during the event, a conditional appointment offered by admissions. West Point provides a comprehensive and rigorous education that prepares cadets not only for their roles as officers in the military but also as leaders in various aspects of life.
