We got into a herd of buffalo early that morning but managed to spook them, with no luck there we kept hunting but just didn’t find anything worth taking! We went back down to where we had bumped the buffalo earlier that morning, to my surprise they had come out the mountains again and down to the river! We got the wind right and used the terrain and managed to get to about 80 yards of the herd but the bull just wouldn’t give us a shot, eventually he moved out to the side and the shot rang out, the bull buckled and took off, we put a few more shots into him until he came right our way into a patch of long grass between us and went down! We gave him some time and approached cautiously, he was done for!
