This dish of charred cauliflower with Middle Eastern flavours is sure to make your taste buds dance ! The cauli steaks are marinated in a mix of harissa paste, honey,cinnamon and ginger. I have served it with dollops of garlicky tahini and preserved lemon. To make: Cauliflower- cut into thick slices 2 Tbsp - harissa. I used rose harissa @belazu_co from @waitrosepr 1/2tsp - cinnamon powder 2 Tbsp - clear honey 1tsp - fresh, grated ginger 1 Tbsp - olive oil Salt and pepper The above is for the marination. You also need: Tahini and garlic to make the sauce to serve on side 3-4 preserved lemon for garnish Handful chopped coriander leaves Oil to cook Method : marinate the cauliflower steaks in the mix for an hour. Brush it nicely on the steaks. Heat oil in a griddle pan and cook each steak about 4-5 min each side. You can also cook it in the oven at 200 for 20-25 min. Garnish with coriander leaves and bits of preserved lemon. Serve with the tahini garlic sauce .
