When I tell you this journey has been a proper roller-coaster ride!! Too many months of hugging the toilet to count, experiencing severe hyperemesis (morning, noon and night sickness); having to get IV drips, struggling to find effective medication, eventually landing on treatment used for chemotherapy patients so I could even keep down water. Keeping my legs up, doing minimal activity and being diligent with treatment while dealing with some unnerving and scary spotting. Then, I got knocked by what felt like the worst flu I'd ever experienced, which then triggered the vomiting all over again! Being trapped in the duality of being absolutely grateful for our blessing but struggling with the physical toll it was taking on my body and mind. The greatest conundrum! But trusting God and His will, the attentive support and expertise of my doctor @saragrace23, the absolutely kind gracious love and understanding from my husband and my daughter, the patience and support from my friends and family, have brought us here... Finally feeling like myself at 7 months pregnant, being able to go for sunrise walks with my husband, soaking up mother nature, and enjoying her crisp air and vitamin D, and keeping gratitude at the centre of everything!!
