3 years ago today I got the call from my doctor at school that I was diagnosed with Hodgkin's lymphoma. I was told to immediately pack up my classroom and start isolating because I'd be starting chemo soon... I would then undergo testing for my heart, lungs and more to see how fit my body was for chemo. I also would undergo a CT and PET scan to see where the cancer has spread to and determine what stage I was at... This would determine how many rounds of chemotherapy I would undergo and/or if I needed radiation. Here's some pictures of this time! It was such a weird experience! Everything happens so fast. I didn't have much time to think about it all.....
