When I first met the Turnbulls I knew I had found my people. They are loving, generous, thoughtful people who are deep thinkers and not content to rest on their laurels. Bill and Susan have shown me through their example that if we aren’t content with our religious tradition, we can complain about it or we can contribute in a useful way. They taught me that doctrine can be perfect and it doesn’t mean programs always are. They have shown me how to expand my understanding of truth without sacrificing the foundation of what I believe.
