The St George, Utah LDS temple open house will run September 15-November 11 and is free to the public’s, everyone is welcome!!!! You just reserve tickets at https://www.churchofjesuschrist.org/featured/st-george-open-house?lang=eng It’s a beautiful experience to see such a historical building and feel the love of God in this special place! In the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Temples are literally houses of the Lord. They are holy places of worship where individuals make sacred covenants with God. Before they are dedicated (after dedication is when a temple recommend is required to enter,) they hold an open house to the public to come see and learn what we do in temples. Members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints regularly go to temples to worship. Inside these holy buildings, faithful Church members make promises with God, feel His Spirit, and come closer to Him through sacred ceremonies called ordinances. Through these ordinances, we believe that families can be sealed together forever. I love the temple and the peace and joy it brings into my life. When I need a spiritual pick me up in my life, I go to the temple. When I need more peace in my life, I go to the temple. When I am seeking answers only He can give me, I go to the temple. The temple is a physical sanctuary I can go to and feel His love. I LOVED getting to take my girls and answering all their questions. They wanted to go into the temple sooo bad so to be able to take them and teach them was a memory I’ll cherish forever!! I love that they wanted to get all dressed up in their “temple dresses” and they even picked out my dress too. I’m so grateful for the blessings of the temple and that I get to have them sealed to me forever!
