This was one of the best hikes I’ve ever done in my life - and I’ve done some great hikes. It was fun and challenging and awarded us with the MOST INCREDIBLE VIEWS! The hike is a ridge hike connecting 3 different peaks in Stoos Switzerland. You take a funicular - Stoosbahn- that inclines to 110% (world record!). When you reach the top it’s a brief uphill walk to the Klingenstock chairlift. You can hike all the way up and down- but I say save your energy for the top because it’s steep! As soon as you are off the chairlift you are on a narrow ridge up and down until you get to Fronalpstock. I can’t even express how WOW these views were. You get to see 7 beautiful blue alpine lakes, not to mention that all the views are 360 since you are walking the ridge. Once we reached Fronalpstock we sat on a patch of green grass and ate a well deserved picnic. This day ended to being one of my favorite days of the entire honeymoon trip! I was so proud of myself to have done this while 6 months pregnant. A couple other hikers offered me some high fives for doing the hike while pregnant.
